Walking For Jimmy is back! Come and join us on Saturday, 25th May 2024

The Mizen Foundation was founded in 2008 after 16-year-old Jimmy Mizen was murdered in an unprovoked attack. The Mizen family created the charity to ensure that something positive came out of the loss of Jimmy. Margaret and Barry have since dedicated their lives to celebrating Jimmy's life, sharing their story of forgiveness, peace, and hope to effect change in our communities.

Walking For Jimmy started in 2013 to celebrate what would have been Jimmy's 21st birthday. It's a 24 mile walk crossing 21 bridges of London. On its 11th year, we aim to make our annual walk bigger and better than ever before.

The main challenge starts at Richmond Rugby Club and ends at the iconic Tower Bridge, taking you across 21 of London's most beautiful bridges. We also have two shorter routes, all ending at Tower Bridge. The shorter routes are aimed at families with young children and anyone who cannot commit to the full 21.

21 Bridges (24 Miles) - Richmond Athletic Ground - Tower Bridge

14 Bridges (13 Miles) - Premier Inn, Putney Bridge - Tower Bridge

7 Bridges (4 Miles) - Southbank Centre - Tower Bridge
